The act of expressing our soul in the world, when the clouds of despair engulf us, is an act of supreme faith. Not only in stillness, but in movement do we affirm what we are. Movement shakes off the webs of illusion that try to ensnare us. Through movement we reach our hand to the Divine, and the Divine draws us to its embrace. Through movement we summon the courage to proclaim what we are, even in the face of what we are not; and the angels rejoice.
