What is judgment? It is an act of separation; an obscuring of the inherent connection beween two human hearts. When we judge we allow a curtain to fall between us and the “other”. We turn our backs, avert our eyes, and shut down the flow of Divine Energy which is what we truly are.
Judgments are not harmless. They carry a charge, and when they are multiplied millions of times over, they contribute to the density which still holds much of the planet in its grip. This is why Jesus and the great Masters spoke out so strongly against judging.
If we are part of a force of indescribable compassion, than our very essence would not judge or separate us, even from those we perceived to be the vilest of criminals. Indeed, can we not oppose someone’s destructive action, without building a wall around our hearts? Who needs our clear-eyed love more, than the one who is so lost to his own essence, that he would commit a horrible crime? If, as near death experiencers tell us, The Light itself never judges, then by what authority do we?
