"As a child I thought if I could touch the sky I could touch the face of God. As a man I learned that all I had to do was touch my own heart"

When you seek to console someone who is is pain, speak whatever is in your heart. Nothing that you’ve read will ever match the wisdom of your heart. The mind is sorely limited when these challenges arise, though it may be used as needed.  If you let your heart grow wings, they will wrap around those who grieve and give them comfort. And your love will be felt at the deepest levels.

Forget the mind’s doubts. Put aside its frantic counsel as to the choice of words. Your heart will tell you when words will console and when only silence will suffice. It will let you know when you can touch another or when such touch cannot be felt. Allow the heart to rule and the mind to be the servant, and you become the Divine vessel that you truly are.
